The
Krause family immigrated from Germany to the United Stated in 1956. They
later started their clock company by importing German made parts and
quartz movements. Loricron assembles the parts in the United States and
produces the finest quartz anniversary clocks available anywhere. Today,
three generations of the Krause family are working in the family clock
business called Loricron Clock Company, Inc. The business was named after
Lorraine (Lori) Krause.
Loricron Clock Co. only uses the finest quartz movements from the Black
Forest area of Germany. The movement in the anniversary clocks use a
patented pendulum drive system that has eliminated the fragile suspension
spring (thin wire) to rotate the pendulum, thus eliminating the major
service problem associated with other anniversary clocks.
In
1992, Loricron introduced mantle and wall clocks to their line. Their
